Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MendPaw application ("MendPaw", "the App"), published by Paul Badarau, trading as alplustech ("we", "us", "the developer"). By downloading, installing, or using MendPaw, you agree to these Terms.

Veterinary disclaimer: MendPaw records and reports — it never diagnoses. If you're worried about your pet, contact your vet. MendPaw is not a veterinary device and does not provide veterinary advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. It never calculates or suggests medicine dosing; it only records the doses and times you enter yourself and can remind you when a wait time you configured has passed.

1. License and free app

MendPaw is a free application licensed, not sold, to you for personal, non-commercial use in managing health-related records for your own pets or pets in your care. You may use MendPaw on devices associated with your Apple ID in accordance with Apple's sharing rules.

2. Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement

Your use of MendPaw is also subject to Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms are silent or where Apple's EULA imposes stricter obligations, Apple's standard EULA governs; where these Terms are more specific to MendPaw, they apply in addition to it.

3. What MendPaw does and does not do

MendPaw records information you choose to enter: episode details, temperatures, symptoms, medicine doses, notes, photos, vaccines, preventatives, and weight entries.
It can create a Vet Report or Sitter Card from records you choose to include.
Medicine reminders are local notifications based solely on the wait time you configure. MendPaw does not know, calculate, or suggest an appropriate dose or interval.
MendPaw does not connect to a developer-operated server. It is not a substitute for veterinary advice, monitoring equipment, or emergency veterinary care.

4. Your data

All information you enter is stored on your device, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter and for maintaining your own backups. You can export your data at any time from within the app.

5. No warranty

MendPaw is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of defects, or that logged data, reminders, reports, or exports will always be accurate or delivered on time.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, health outcomes, or other losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, MendPaw. Where liability cannot be excluded under Romanian or EU consumer protection law, it is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

7. Termination

You may stop using MendPaw and delete it at any time. We may update or discontinue App features from time to time; where required by applicable law or the App Store, we will provide reasonable notice of material changes.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania and, where applicable, the European Union, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute will be subject to the competent courts of Romania, except where mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required, note the change in the app's release notes.
